I hаνе checked аll lights аnd fuses аnd thе hazard flashers work (thе one іn thе fuse box). Bυt I саn’t find out whеrе thе turn light buss flasher іѕ connected. Anу hеlр wουld bе appreciated. 1990 Ford Mustang 4 cyclinder LX?
I believe it is “buried” under the dash, behind the instrument panel, clipped to a small bracket, either over the steering wheel or just to one side of it on the metal brace that holds the dashboard in. You will probably need to remove some under dash plastic covers and A/C ductwork.
As you seem to alreadsy know, the hazard uses a separate flasher from the turn signals. They make the hazard one simple to get to!!! Go figure.
Asinine Ford people: they don’t make things simple!!!!
The hazard flasher and the turn flasher are one unit. so even if the hazard flasher works the turn signal may not as this is a separate circuit within the flasher unit. since this is relatively inexpensive replace it and you signals should work, assuming this is your conundrum?
I would suggest you stop in at a major parts store. They generally have info. of this type.
really i have the same car and it is located behind the radio clipped to the dash .. you can either remove the radio and dig for it that way … or you may be able to use a flashlight and go from the side of the center console where it meets the dash on the drivers side or the passenger side… it is back in that mess, you’ll just have to dig it out .. mine went out and i just went through the radio slot.. i found that to be the simplest way… hope this helps
