keep in mind more horespower = less gas mileage. more power means more gas is used to make that extra power so choose wisely. jcwhitney.com has a unique mustang only catalog that they sell parts for. there are literally hundreds of mustang only catalogs available on the net and you can order them free for you to view. as fas as exhaust goes, larger the pipe, louder the sound. I’d suggest 3-4 inch pipes. that will give you the hum you’re looking for.
they mite have a performance computer chip for this car you have call the dealer and question them if they have a performance chip for your car.
Don’t waste your time, get a proper performance car, it’ll cosy you far less in the long run.
If you opt for, dare I suggest it, non American cars, you can buy a sub 2 litre car that will leave your Mustang in it’s dust and give better than 30 MPG.
Cars for the American market are, like Howlin Wolf, built for comfort not alacrity.

you can not have both ,either performance or millage they don’t work collectively, have more horsepower place in a Shelby GT-500 Motor, and or sell the car , gas millage keep it the way it is OK,

Go and buy an issue of 5.0 mustang and superfords at your local store and that will have everything you could ever want……body,performane,seats,accessories,etc.etc.etc…..just know what to look for
Honestly the best thing I’ve bought for my Mustang. A fuel additive that lubes the seals of the engine also.

Oh, and yes the tank was empty for sure – the low fuel light was on for 13 miles both era.
I’ve bought all of the parts for friend with that car and engine from this site.
