I had the SLP on my 97GT and I liked the sound. If you’re preparation on going with an aftermarket midpipe shortly, it might be too loud for your tastes. Borla is supposed to have a nice tone although their systems are expensive. I’ve got Flows on my 93 5.0 now and I like them. But, they drone at 2000rpm which drives some people nuts. I’ve heard fantastic things about the Magnaflow Magnapacks. Go with what your budget can afford.

i own a shop ,and the best one i can recommend is the flow master system to place on it,they out last all the others and keep there sound longer and better than any other system i know of,as far as I’m worried ,there probably the best there is right now on the market, there not cheap ,but they are the best, excellent luck i hope this helps.

I have long tube headers, 2-1/2″ off-road H-pipe, 40 series 2-chamber flowmasters 2-1/2″ all the way out, sounds sweet !
