I would check the ground wire from the engine to the frame,,then check the belts to make sure they are tight,,also check the fuse box for the lights(I have a 93 GT)

You can find electrical wiring diagrams on this site. They should aid you in pin pointing your conundrum.

    Excellent Luck

t sounds like you may have a power rush conundrum. That alt light is telling you something in your electrical system is not working properly. Maybe the fuses were blown out on persons circuits or the bulbs themselves. You might want to have the shop check your charging system. Could be a terrible alternator or the cars regulator system.

Go through the fuses one by one to make sure all of them are excellent then go in the trunk and pull all the light sockets free from their holders and check the bulbs, they could be just burnt out. If not you may have a small circuit in the wiring. Excellent Luck With It!

I reckon you have manifold problems or you have a terrible wiring going to the back of the car (which runs along side the drivers side of the car)

My first guess is check out the turn signal switch for the tail lights and brake light conundrum.. or at least the circuit you are having problems with go thru the turn signal at one point (the thrid brake light was a hint)

The reverse, On manuals I’ve seen the reverse switch and related wiring go terrible on persons… automatics, could be the MLP switch

the alternator could be numerous problems including a terrible connection or even a worn out regualator… check the output of the alternator at the array..
