    its probably a poser

  2. ? says:

the vin number will tell you if it will be a cobra.

  3. SVOMAN says:

It could be real, the spoilers got hurt and fell off …and the decals got painted over……

“The VIN will not tell you if it is a right Cobra II. The buck tag will,
that’s bolted to the radiator support…..

Also, for the Cobra IIs, but not the King, there is another way to tell if it’s
    a real
Cobra II if the buck tag is missing.
The first letter of the interior trim code will be G if it has standard
    interior, and it
will be H if it has deluxe interior. This goes for the ’76 Cobra II’s also.

There were 25,258 Cobra II’s built in 1976. 11,436 were built in 1977,
    and 9005 in 1978.
4971 King Cobras were built in 1978 only.”

The body code F69 denotes factory optioned Cobra, beware a lot of dealers added the F69 body trim but that does not make it a numbers right Cobra.
