Chris Ashworth records a 2000 Camaro SS wіth pacesetter long tubes nο cats аnd slp loudmouth. Standing behind thе pipes οf thіѕ baby wіll rip уουr head οff.
No cats certainly make it much louder. Ls1 fbodys sound so raspy because they use y-pipes instead of right duals likes mustangs, gto’s, etc. I’ve heard just about every possible exhaust setup on these ls1′s and besides open headers or an open cutout, Slp loudmouth 1 with longtubes and an off-road y is the loudest full exhaust setup you can run. I run a right dual setup on? my 99 TA and I’m switching to an ory lm2 setup now so I can finally lower it
dont usually like white camaros, but this one is sexy as? fuck
Why do? SS ownes always cut off the SLP exhaust and devalue their ride with something that sounds nasty instead?
Is? it loudmouth 1 or 2 on this car?
hookers are ok if your looking to f%cK but they dont make the best headers pacesetters are real god for the money but if you are looking for a slogan that will last a long time go with something full stainless like kooks or dynatech qtp make excellent ones as well but in my attitude the loud moth with any headers are raspy as? hell go with the borla adjustable thats what i have and theres no rasp with my kooks headers and you can adjust it with check off plates but its a bit pricey
It’s mine, this? video was before I did H/C/I but here is the vid for that first start up…search “2000 Camaro SS (tasty ZL1): First Start Up”
just adding long tube headers themselves would clean up the sound. But to answer your? question yes it would a deff head turner
Sure is! Auto? Europe with the members of Mifbody.
this up on north woodward where the MIFBODY? guys chill at? looks like the cut out parking lot that we all meet at
do u know the dude who? owns that camaro cuz i wanna know exactly what mods he has in that monster
The type of Y pipe merge has a lot to do with the amount of rasp. If its a smoother Y merge like the flowmaster merge it will not be as raspy as a merge that makes the exhaust smash into the other pipe causing turbulence (rasp). Cats kind of count as a small muffler in a way. Restricts flow, refines sounds, lowers noise, and some power. So if they aren’t there it does make the exhaust louder and less? refined compared to the exhaust with them.
To be honest, I am? really not familiar with a lot of persons mechanical mods, so I don’t really have an answer.
What would you reckon of Hooker headers with the Loud mouth exhaust? How mean would that sound on a 2000? z28?
both, the? cats cool down it down a excellent deal and smooth the tone out as well
What engine has it got? I missed that? bit. Sounds like the corvettes they use in the Le Mans 24hr. Dont know if they will use them next year. Shame.
Well seeing as how this is my car, I’ll give everyone an update…she doesn’t? sound the same anymore
search 2000 camaro ss (tastyZL1) first start up
oh p.s. at the end of the video it says open headers.. I’ve never ran open headers on this car just an fyi. See ya on woodward!
yep, the? cats make a deeper sound.
I’m not exactly sure, I’d really like? to know myself.
does not? havin the cats on a ls1 just make it raspier or louder as well?
i agree bro its still in pretty excellent condition and it still runs like? new CAMAROS FOR LIFE!!!
I wish I had a Camaro, let alone this one. I wish this one were mine! The ’92 was a GREAT looking car? though. It had a fantastic combination of menace and beauty.
i? got a 92z28 i wish it sounded this excellent
fucking awesome? bro, ive got this exact set up on my lt1 ive like it!!
