The 1994 and 1995 Mustangs had the horizontal lights (like this one) and the 1996-1998? models had the vertical lights. Some 94-95 owners swap the shortly vertical 3-bar lights in, as they look more like traditional Mustang lights. I have a 94 and I swapped in a set of verticals, because personally I reckon they just look more “Mustang” than the sideways horizontal pieces. Some guys stay right to originality though… like this Mustang.
My friend has a 94 cobra with a 5.0 all stock for now and it sounds incredible ford got something right with their 302s…and I have a question what’s? the deal with the taillights the splits go across on what years and up and down from what years? Or is that only on cobras
