Shit, thats? what I started on,lmao! Went 13.98 on the 225′s, 8.93 in the 8th. Then 13.78 and 8.86 with the oem gt pirellis (18s0. Im a base model too, and started with 2.73s as well. Might as well get some seat time, no matter what track it is!
Nah, i? got the base model so it has the skinny bfgs and 2.73′s. If the track down here was 1/4 mile i would reckon about it
The only exhaust mod I have is the Lethal Performance 2.5in o/r xpipe. Everything else is stock. I havent heard any exhaust setups in person besides mine and my dads. Check? his vids out to get an thought @ Z28th1s. Im tuned by Bama Performance, via American Muscle. I HIGHLY recommend the guys at American Muscle! Top notch customer service!
No real issues with the trans yet. I have had some 2nd gear “lockout” issues, but Im not certain its not just driver error too…. Ive? eased off the powershifting due to this, but thats probably a excellent thing anyways, for the trans.
Yea I reckon it is the weather and btw who r u tune by? And Wat size of? exhaust u have and Wat bran I wanna get borla but idk if it sounds excellent on a v6?
Nah, not too wide. Persons era are def a bit on the low side, but if you’re running in hot weather and terrible? DA then thats the culprit for sure.

Yeah they can tell whether you have it stock tuned or not. Most of the time they tell by the size of the file loaded onto the ECU. If it’s out of line with what it should be it’s a red flag. I had a companion with a GTI and APR tune and they claimed it was untraceable. Needless to say it was. But yup gotta pay to play. If you’re? worried about warranty with tunes, you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. I like your car man, I’m getting one at the end of the year Btw any transmission issues?

I guess is da weather here in deep south Texas wen I was stock I? was running 14.6@96 and wit stock tires im running wit 295/45 r18 nitto do u reckon my tires are to wide?
When I was bone stock I was running 13.78 @ 102 on a 2.04 60ft? (2.73s). Now with my 3.73s and stock Pirellis Im cutting consistant 1.9s. I just ran a 8.39 @ 82 on a 1.75 60ft this past weekend. Feel free to check out that video too!
Dam nice im hitting 13.9 @102 and 1/8 at 9.1? my mods are sct tune, 3.73,and Cai at can help me get lower and Wat tires u have my 60ft sucks is at 2.3

Oh yea, lca’s are NEXT on the list, lol. Probably just gonna go with the J&Ms? from American Muscle. $99 and they clear up all the wheel hop. My dad is running them on both his ’11 v6 and ’11 procharged gt, work fantastic for him. Thanks for the advice!
How about replacing persons rear LCA’s? you seem to have distress getting that power down:wheels keep breaking loose? on your videos. What do you reckon?
Nice! I didn’t get any mods in anticipation of about 5k or so. Started with the tune, then the intake, gears, then the xpipe. The gears are by far the best mod for these cars! And Im still getting 29ish mpg on the highway while driving grannystyle. City has dropped to 17mpg, but Im usually balls to the walls. Ive seen 19 around town, but after this? xpipe went on I like to hear it too much, haha. Got any era for your ride yet?
I see, I have the JLT cai and the 93 race tune so far. just about to turn 500 miles? on the odometer lol

I was launching at 4-4.5k.. Shoulda either went privileged? to power through the launch, or slipped the clutch a small to keep from bogging. I completely disable the advance trac/traction control. Gotta keep your foot on the brake while holding the t/c button for 5 seconds or so.
