Sweet Car. I went through a quarter mile at about 140 mph in one of persons in the 70′s. It came with a 350 4 alacrity out of the factory.

…and if you really know your Chevy’s, you’ll know this tail ight set up is SIMILAR to the the 1966 Chevelle SS ( if it was made straight )

  5. gmanmt says:

Same body design but not the same! Some people are sure ignorant!! 1968-1969 had small markers, taillights, front markers. 1970-1972 long markers and such. Do Your home work before you open mouth.
Besides they ruined that car by re quartering a 69 with the incorrect parts!

  8. chevynovaSS90 says:

u would kno that if u knew ur novas

  9. PivotVids says:

@chevynovaSS90 Gee, let’s ponder that one for a second… maybe because they’re the SAME FUCKING MODEL!!

  10. woodzo40 says:

  12. chevynovaSS90 says:

why would they spend all that money to make it stock and place 1970-72 rear marker lights on it! ??

i need someone to answer a question: i saw an ad in the paper for a 1972 chevy nova straight six engine, 57,000 miles. exterior and interior is pretty excellent just needs some new brake shape i reckon. he wants $1800 for it. is this a excellent deal?? i want to buy it but im not sure.i wanted to buy it and maybe swap it with a .454 or something

  18. ifab2holeshot says:

I was’nt poking fun at you about the trim on your 68 nova hood my friend . All the cars you post are some of the best out there , this one as well .

  19. dale1966gto says:

that’s about right for a very straight, numbers matching show quality ss-396 nova. i had a friend back in persons days that ordered one of this with the 375 hp choice. he blew up two engines under warrantee and they wouldn’t honor it anymore, so he place a 427 in it. it was a screamer. the color was similar to this but more of a gray rather than blue.
much shortly, in 1980 i bought a creme-colored ’71 nova with the same body style, 307 cid with powerglide. very solid, no rattles. kept it a while.

  20. NoSweatOffMySack says:

oh, ok. i stand corrected. I have two of these cars. I wish one of them was half this nice.

  21. carsbyjeff says:

No! $9,300.00 Dollars worth of body and paint work. Not hours…

  22. NoSweatOffMySack says:

9,300 hours of body work? I have worked in a body shop for years, and i have to call bullshit on that one.

  23. bullyboyjack says:

fucking hell i hope no ones going to let that obtuse bitch drive that car….!!!!

  24. bullyboyjack says:

    awesome car!!

  25. carsbyjeff says:

If I remember it was around $35,000.00
